Organization Accounting and Budgeting are two separate modules in Engage that are commonly combined. Organization Accounting allows the campus to assign accounts to different student organizations, which the students can then refer to on a historical basis moving forward. Organization Accounting also provides the campus with purchase and funding request forms, which can associate with transactions to detail for students how much of their request was approved, when the money was moved between accounts, and more. Budgeting is designed for high-level budget request processes for both organizations and individuals, allowing the campus to customize a budget template and workflow for these requests. While each offers its own independent functionality, leveraging the two modules in tandem allows campuses to create a powerful, comprehensive financial process to manage co-curricular funding.
